Story: Aby is an upcoming Malayalam film directed by Srikant Murali in his directorial debut. It is written by Santhosh Echikkanam and produced by Suvin K Varkey under the banner of Little Big Films.Vineeth Sreenivasan plays the lead and titular character of Aby. Aju Varghese, Suraj Venjaramoodu play supporting characters.
The movie talks about a boy's dream to fly.
In August 2016, taking a hiatus from advertisement, Srikant Murali announced his debut feature film featuring Vineeth Sreenivasan.
Principal photography commenced in September 2016 in Thodupuzha, Kerala. The major portions of film is set against the backdrop of Idukki and Ernakulam.Some parts of the film was also shot at Gundlupet, a small town in Karnataka.
The film's original soundtrack was composed by Bijibal and Jaison J Nair.Background music is composed by Anil Johnson.
The first look poster of the movie was released on December 2, 2016.Vineeth Sreenivasan shared the poster through his official Facebook page. The trailer of the movie was released on Youtube by Nivin Pauly on January 21, 2017. The trailer received positive feedback from the film industry and garnered 3 lakh views within a span of 2 days.
The film was originally scheduled to be released on January 20, 2017 ,but was postponed to February 17, 2017 due to the strike by Kerala theaters.
